Lampredotto is a typical Florentine dish and is made of cow’s stomach. I was strolling along some shops in Florence and I noticed a small queue. I went nearer and saw that people were ordering food from a small window. I joined in:) It was my fist time trying lampredotto and it was delicious although slightly oily. The meat was tender and juicy. Just think of it as beef and fat:)
I found this shop inside the San Lorenzo market in Florence. Again, there was a long queue and I joined in. The stall serves lampredotto and beef pasta. I tried the beef pasta. Although it looked like a simple dish, it was absolutely delicious.

Arancini are stuffed rice balls which are coated with bread crumbs and then deep fried. They are usually filled with ragù, mozzarella, and peas. It is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s like fried donut with fillings and mozzarella inside. Very tasty.
The Cuoppo is made of different kinds of fried food served on the street in a paper cone bag. I had my first taste of cuoppo in Amalfi and I loved it! It has fried chicken drumlet, potato croquettes, shrimp, calamari and fried mozzarella. It’s really a delicious combination and a winner for street food.
