Happy Mother’s Day! Every year people all over the world celebrate this special day with their mothers. Even if they cannot be with their mothers, they will make an effort to call them and wish them. Remembering our mothers on this day is so important. Mothers help shape us from the day we are born. They nurture and teach us what schools cannot do. A mother’s love gives strength to her children. She embraces them and showers them with tender loving care. Even though some of you may have lost your mom, she is still dear and near in your hearts. I miss my mom so much. It has been 2 years since she went home to be with the Lord. I am grateful for all that my mom has done. She had a difficult time when my dad passed away but she never gave up on me and brought me up single handedly. I can never repay her for her devotion to me. She was really God’s gift to me. I love you, Mom.
On this special day, please spend time with your mom on Mother’s Day. You can treat her to a wonderful meal or lavish her with a gift that you know she would absolutely love. If you are good at making DIY gifts or baking, do something special for her. Show her how much you love her. This will make her so happy. You can also take the following 10 beautiful Bible verses to share with your mom and encourage her. Bless her with God’s word. I hope you will have an enjoyable time with your mom. God bless you.
10 A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
15 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
13 As a mother comforts her child,
so will I comfort you;
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise—
3 “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”
8 Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction
and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.
22 Listen to your father, who gave you life,
and do not despise your mother when she is old.
25 May your father and mother rejoice;
may she who gave you birth be joyful!
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails.
